Very quick option of a meal for several people as another restaurant had canceled 1 day before. Food was delicious, ice cream too! Thank you very much.

Nice service and delicious food. I had a schnitzel with fried potatoes and a mushroom sauce and really couldn't fault it. I think it's a bit too expensive. But to praise it from the inside really cozy even if there are no real candles that you don't even notice. Normal waiting time for the food. I can't say much about children's cards or children's meals.

As a stopover on a hike, a stop is recommended. The decor was very inviting. We were greeted in a friendly manner by the operating staff and we were always competently entertained during our stay. ĎThe food fits, the draft beer is at the perfect serving temperature. I really liked the deliciously prepared beef tartare. The harmonization of the service team was remarkable. If you like, you can buy tasty sausage and meat items from the Schulte butcher's shop in the restaurant. We are happy to come back here.

Been there for lunch on a Friday. Short, reasonable waiting time. Food was delicious. Portions larger than average. Service left nothing to be desired.

Very good regional cuisine. Above all, the service team deserves a lot of extra praise. Rarely have such exceptional service been offered. Numerous restaurateurs in Dresden and the surrounding area can cut an extra thick slice!

Very, very tasty food! The best schnitzel I've ever eaten - very tender. ..and the cake for dessert was delicious!

Waited a little long for food, but otherwise good?.

A great restaurant in the middle of the forest with a beer garden. There is a lot of space and the staff were all very friendly and took great care of us. Price / performance ratio is just right and there is a good selection of food and drinks. Unfortunately, the last star doesn't exist because I wasn't enthusiastic about my knuckle. Was a little disappointed with the size and taste.

Always worth a visit. For many years I have been passing by here whenever I drive through Dresden. So far, the staff has always been very friendly and courteous. The dishes were always nicely presented, very tasty and more than adequate. The prices are also more than fair. You should always keep in mind where the products come from, what products are on offer and how much love everything is prepared with. I'm already looking forward to my next visit

Friends celebrated their school launch here. Now the location is of course very popular for such celebrations. So also on this day. I would roughly estimate 9-11 companies. That's really sporty. The staff was really great ... In particular, petr should be mentioned here. Despite the marathon that everyone started there, the waiters tried very hard to be friendly, which in many places was absolutely difficult, as some guests were unabashedly cheeky. The food was good. The schnitzel with the children is sometimes very dark, but everything is absolutely within the framework. And even my request not to receive pink meat was accepted. I found that very nice, otherwise I would have gone home hungry ? Now the reason why there are only 3 points. On the one hand, no hygiene measures were really observed (I didn't think it was bad not to wear a mask or the like). But what really bothered me was the lack of cleanliness in the toilets. The toilet paper, for example, was completely used up in the afternoon. Likewise the disinfectant. What the place then looked like ... I don't want to describe it ...

The staff is friendly and mostly attentive, there is actually nothing to complain about. Food and drinks were also on the table super quickly. The selection on the menu is manageable, the prices are rather high for the ambience in the beer garden, maybe it's fancier inside, I can't judge that. Changing the side dishes costs extra, but I'm too stingy when you see the already more expensive prices (schnitzel with french fries around 14 euros). Now we come to the reason for the 3 star award: The food is hot and freshly prepared, but it just tastes bland. The mushroom cream sauce tastes like nothing and the schnitzel also seemed unseasoned. The meat was tender and the breading was nice and crispy, but it didn't taste like anything. Except for the fries. They were really salty. We won't be back. Too bad.

As part of a small family celebration after many years, we were once again accommodated in the Waldmax and in a nice, separate room. The service of the guests was quick, humorous and provided with clear, but cordial announcements. This authentic atmosphere and the excellent food (salad, venison goulash and a chocolate cake) made the evening a very nice experience. We'll be back for sure. Thanks to the staff who entertained us and also tolerated the (very nice) musical saxophone interludes.

Nice beer garden. Friendly and fast service. We stopped for coffee and cake only this time. We wanted to get back for the Wagyu beef (we are big fans of Japanese Wagyu) - until we learned that this meat is only available as burger patties. Why? Nevertheless, we will get back again for sure.

The service and the food were very good. The waiting times were more than okay and there is a nice playground for the kids. We'd love to come back.

Idylle, very tasty and great people!

The Waldmax is generally highly recommended! We were there with 10 people for dinner and have all been more than satisfied. The two waiters were on the ball and very friendly. The food was perfect too. I had the Dresdner Bratenbrot, which can be seen here in the picture. A feast!

We reached this place quite by accident as the guide with our Trafalgar group mistook Waldmax for some other restaurant. Waldmax is in a remote location not frequented by many people unless they have planned coming there. With hardly any space to turn our 42 seater coach, it was decided that we would take a much needed pit stop. We found places for ourselves outside and waited for something to eat, despite the fact that catering to a large group takes time. Finally we did get our meal and what a meal it was - unplanned and without much warning. The staff not only served us the finest food outside of Berlin, but it record time. If you are planning to be in the vicinity, drop in and have a bite. You won’t regret it.
